The league was first made in 2019 on June 6. The first four teams were the: Alabama Knights, Arizona Stingers, San Antonio Miners and the Tampa Bay Top Guns (This team was inspired by the APF 2K8 team who has the same name). The league was first called the Summer Heroes Football League, and we choose Madden NFL 07 (Wii) to kickstart our first season and we had 3 games on each of the team schedules as we started off as a 4-team league. When the season started, everything was going very well, from the games to the playoffs, it was like I have achieved my dream idea. Then, when the 1st season was over, I told myself ''This league will keep growing and will get better''. When the 2nd season started, things WERE going well, until... COVID forced us to suspend the 2nd season in 2020 and the 3 teams left. It was to protect the players. After the cancelled 2nd season, we went back to being a 4-team league. The 3rd season was cancelled in 2021 as we've skipped a year. The few other teams that were in the PSFL left the league and went to the SUHFL (our ''father league''). But their season didn't last very long and only played one game. ONE. The SUHFL closed down for good and never started up their operations ever again. The 4 teams who are the: Columbus Spiders, Dallas Pirates (Formerly the Denver Gladiators), Milwaukee Bulls and the San Diego Bandits, left the SUHFL league. The PSFL started their 3rd season with the 4 teams that were in the last 2 seasons. This time, we chose Madden NFL 08 (PS2) and the season schedules were different from the 1st season schedules. We've renamed the league to the Pro Summer Football League. The team schedules had 6 games this time with the same teams for home and away games. The season ended with all of the teams resulted a record of 3-3, which is unbelievable. Then the playoffs came. It was an amazing playoff battle for the 4 teams, then we hosted the 2022 SimBowl, featuring the Miners and the Stingers. Miners and the Stingers were battling it out in the championship, then the Miners made a miraculous play that led them to win SimBowl 3. Now here's the 4th season. Before it started, the teams from the failed SUHFL, the Spiders, Pirates, Bulls, Bandits, joined the league to make it an 8-team league.
