Hey, I'm Robert Anthony Gibbs Jr, and I'm the official owner and founder of the Professional Simulation Football League. Before it was called that, it was first called the Summer Heroes Football League. And oh boy, do I have the story to tell you about my past ideas and everything that is happening now. Let's get started, shall we?

[Oh, and this league is an alternative of the past first failed idea from years ago. On July 4th, 2015, the Super USA Heroes Football League.]

Now onto the story.

Before the PSFL, I had a game called Madden NFL 07 for the Wii back then. I created an old team: the Columbus Knights, by using the Create-A-Team feature. It was July, and I made 4 logos, all from Microsoft Paint. I had to start my own league tournament in the basement on a small polaroid TV in Madden NFL 07. I chose tournament mode when it all started back.

When the past leagues I have tried failed, I decided to just stick with the Columbus Knights. Before the league, my dad brought me Madden NFL 07 for the Wii back in 2017 and that's where my football journey began with the Knights. But... when I had to stop doing the team in 2020, I had to move on after putting the team away in 2022. and things got a bit complicated with the football life. After the Knights, the SUHFL and the other league called the American League Football fired me, I had to give up on sports. But when I had the PSFL after the 3rd season, I realized that I was too lazy, doing things. So, I had to throw away my worries and kept going with my latest idea: the league itself. The football life that I was about to give up on, I gave it another chance & started fresh, clearing the past ideas and past me out of my mind and my life and stayed with the PSFL, making it the official league.

Before starting up my first season, I was thinking of where to locate these teams. I chose Birmingham, Alabama for the new team and I named them the Alabama Knights. Tuscaloosa was also a good choice too, but I chose Birmingham because it feels like a big city experience.

Then, I drew a crappy bee logo, but I didn't care. It was a good design. I colored it in Microsoft Paint and located them to Glendale, Arizona and called them the Arizona Stingers.

Then, I picked San Antonio, I then drew a pickaxe and a hammer and colored it blue & white. And I called them the San Antonio Miners.

Finally, I drew a very bad plane concept logo. I colored it Pink and purple, which was dumb. I called them the Milwaukee Top Guns, after the first season though, I relocated them to Tampa Bay to be the Tampa Bay Top Guns and changed the team colors to Teal, Gray and Black.

That's when I created those teams, back in 2019. I did them all in Microsoft Paint. I located them by looking at a website and another website of picking which city I should locate them to.

Then, the teams, uniforms and the 3-game schedule were all created by me, and the season began on June 6th on Madden NFL 07 (Wii). The three-game season results were in when the first Inaugural season was over. The playoffs started and there was a loser's bracket whoever loses in the playoffs game (It was later taken out for next season). The Miners and Knights played in the first championship game. It was a great game. The Miners won their first championship and their first trophy, and they went 4-1. After Season 1 was over, the new league idea made me realize ''The league will keep growing and be heard of by many. And will get better.''. After saying that, I kept going with this idea.

Miners finished the season with a 4-1 record.

Top Guns finished the season with a 2-3 record.

Knights finished the season with a 3-2 record.

Stingers finished the season with a 2-3 record.

After the 1st season was over, I continued on Madden NFL 07 for the Wii. That's where 2 new short-lived teams, but one team stayed, came to the ceased 2020 season (AKA Season 2).

Now, 2020 was the second year that the SUHFL alternative, the SHFL, had to start season 2. Well... that was advancing before Covid came. The season was cancelled because of the virus. And the 2 teams had left the league because of Covid issues on Week 4 after finishing 3 weeks of Madden NFL 07 Football on the Wii in Season II. Those three teams were named the Charleston Black Knights, Denver Gladiators (Who are now the Dallas Pirates) and the Denver Firebirds. Those two teams Charleston and Denver (Firebirds), sadly, were never heard of in the SHFL again. But the Pirates, formerly the Denver Gladiators, stayed in the league after joining the league in 2022 for Season 4. Those two teams, the Charleston Black Knights and Denver Firebirds had to move on, going back to the SUHFL, but not the Pirates. And so, the league was a 4-team league again. Season results weren't revealed on that year.

2021: The league had to be down for a whole year because of the old nostalgic league I was working on after leaving it behind for 7 whole years, The Super USA Heroes Football League. The league was reviving after having the season set up. Schedules were being made, teams were named and the teams from the 2019 SHFL league had to join for the 2021 season. Even the store was being made. But after one game, I thought it was boring for me to do both the messenger page and watch the game at the same time when I was watching the two teams play after. So, after that one game between the Bandits and the Firebirds, the SUHFL didn't really have the same fuel for me to continue my video game football journey with them just like the SHFL did after 2 seasons (Season 2 was cancelled because of covid issues). And the SUHFL was shut down for good after deleting everything, thinking it was boring after one game I watched in the basement. After 2021, I had to stop working on the fake product anymore. The league that has been around and abandoned for 7 years, was never heard from again, forever. R.I.P SUHFL. And now, it was back to the SHFL league. And in the later year, things changed...

(Also, I never really cared about the idea since leaving it behind for those 7 years. Anyways, back to the story.)

2022: (two seasons on that year to catch up. I know, it is weird to do two seasons on one year)

After the shutdown of the SUHFL, the league name (after the 2020 season cancellation & skipping 2021) changed and the SHFL was back. But it now changed to the Pro Summer Football League (PSFL). The game that was used for Season 3 was Madden NFL 08 for the PS2. The season had a 6-game schedule. The season was extended to 3 games for each team just like when the league first started its inaugural season with only 3 games for each team. It was a double-header. 3 years ago in 2019, it was a 3-game schedule for each team. When the 3rd season started, it had an old website from Google Sites. It was called ''Pro Summer Football League'' and it was used for only 1 year.

Then, after Season 3 was done, the move was to go for a website change. The choice was Wix, the trusted website builder and Wix was the perfect choice for the league and for the league's future.

Now for season 4, the 4 former SUHFL teams came to join the PSFL. Though, it was not called the Pro Summer Football League anymore. The name was changed to the Professional Simulation Football League as it is the official name. The 4 old SUHFL teams are the San Diego Bandits (Formerly the San Diego Knights), Columbus Spiders, Milwaukee Bulls and the Dallas Pirates (Who were formerly the Denver Gladiators). Legend Bowl was going to be used for Season 4, until a slow computer made things complicated for the league. The move was to go to Madden NFL 07 for the PS2. And the days of the games were moved to Monday.

After Season 4 was over, there are teams that were going to be part of the SUHFL, but after what happened in the SUHFL's 1st ''failed'' season attempt of bringing their league back, we brought them to the PSFL to make it a full 16-team league. Those teams are the:

-Austin Cobras (Formerly the Chicago Snakes)

-Oklahoma Scorpions

-Las Vegas Sabercats (Formerly the Evanston Sabercats)

-Los Angeles Rattlers (Formerly the Birmingham Rattlers)

-Michigan Sharks (Formerly the Pittsburgh Sharks)

-Portland Rays (Formerly the San Antonio Rays/Stars)

-Chicago Wolves (Formerly the Kansas City Wolves. They were also a basketball team once in NBA 2K13 for PS2)

-Salt Lake City Savages

As the SUHFL was starting its first season, the league asked the Wolves from formerly located Kansas City, to play. The Wolves gave it a try and started finding some players. But after the SUHFL's continued lies of starting up a season, the Wolves knew they were being tricked by a fake product. So, they went back to basketball in NBA 2K13. But in a redeeming chance, the PSFL asked the Wolves to play in their league instead. The Wolves team said ''No thanks.''. But the PSFL wasn't like the SUHFL. The Wolves thought about it and decided to give football another chance, hoping to not be tricked again. The Wolves found their new home: Chicago, Illinois and moved there. The team was placed in the North Conference.

These teams were introduced on our Facebook page, including the Wolves also. So, the failed SUHFL is what made this league grow after the first inaugural season and after the failed 2021 season attempt and so on. There may be ups and downs from this league, but there is promise ahead and a future ahead. Now, we are continuing this journey with your support and with a small, but a depending fanbase. You helped made this league grow and we're very grateful. This league will continue to move forward with years & years of simulation football. Thank you for supporting this league!

Madden NFL's Create-A-Team feature has had a significant impact on the world of football. In fact, it was the inspiration behind the creation of the Professional Simulation Football League in 2019. This feature has allowed fans to create their own teams and the thrill of managing a football franchise. And was the reason why the PSFL has started its football journey.
